In the course of providing advertising operations and advertising technology services, SMAERD may access advertising data through the Amazon Ads API on behalf of clients. This section describes how we handle such data.
Access to Amazon Ads data is granted through OAuth authorization via Login with Amazon (LWA). We do not collect, store, or request Amazon login credentials (username or password) from any user.
Through the Amazon Ads API, we may access advertising data including: profiles; campaigns; ad groups; keywords and targets; bids and budgets; search terms; impressions, clicks, spend, sales, and conversions; placement performance; and other advertising performance metrics.
Amazon Ads data is used solely for the purpose of providing advertising management, analysis, reporting, optimization, and automation services to the authorized client. We access only the minimum data necessary to deliver these services.
Amazon Ads data is not sold, rented, licensed, or disclosed to unauthorized third parties. Where service providers are required to support the operation of our services, Amazon Ads data will only be processed by Amazon-approved service providers, in accordance with applicable Amazon Ads requirements, under confidentiality obligations and appropriate data protection safeguards. Amazon Ads data from one client is never shared with or made accessible to any other client. Access within SMAERD is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Amazon Ads data is protected using HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, encryption for stored data where applicable, role-based access controls, and secure infrastructure. For full details, see our Security & Data Handling page.
Amazon Ads data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the authorized services. Upon termination of services, upon client request, or upon request from Amazon, we will promptly delete all Amazon Ads data in our possession and discontinue its use.
Clients may revoke SMAERD's access to their Amazon Ads data at any time through the Amazon Ads console (Account access and settings → Third-Party Applications → Manage authorization). Upon revocation, we will cease accessing the data and delete any stored data in accordance with section 10.6.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
